Frequently asked questions
What golfers want to know before getting started.
Do I need to be an experienced golfer?+
No. Assessments and coaching are adapted to your training history, ability, goals and current physical capacity.
What is a Titleist Performance Institute assessment?+
A Titleist Performance Institute-informed screen looks at golf-relevant movement patterns and physical capabilities. Fit To Play combines those findings with your history, goals and other performance measures rather than treating one score as the whole picture.
How is Sportsbox 3D used?+
Sportsbox 3D provides swing-biomechanics information that can help connect how the body moves with what happens in the golf swing. It is interpreted alongside physical screening and your coach’s technical priorities.
How often should I train?+
Most golfers benefit from two to three purposeful physical sessions each week, adjusted around practice, play and recovery.
How quickly will I see progress?+
Movement and control can improve quickly, while meaningful strength, power and performance changes require consistent training over a structured block.
Can you work with my golf coach?+
Yes. With your permission, relevant physical and biomechanics findings can be shared to align coaching and training priorities.
Is online coaching available?+
Yes. Online and hybrid options provide individualised programming, exercise guidance, check-ins and ongoing adjustments.
Where is Fit To Play located?+
Fit To Play operates from Golfers Hub at 24 Rocklea Drive, Port Melbourne, Victoria.
